Gopalganj stole and wrote the thief

 Two cows of a poor farmer named Ali Molla (60) were stolen in Kotalipara upazila of Gopalganj.  Ali Mollah, the farmer, is now mad as his two cows, the only means of livelihood, have been stolen.  He is spending days without eating.


 The theft took place in Kurpala village of Pinjuri union of Kotalipara upazila on Monday (November 18) night.  Farmer Ali Molla is the son of deceased Lahu Molla of Kurpala village.


 Ali Molla said, "We fell asleep after eating dinner on Monday.  I woke up in the morning and saw that the two cows in my barn were gone.  I see writing on the door of the house "I have stolen two of your cows, forgive me".  Today, for five days, I searched a lot in different areas and in the bazaar, but I did not find two cows.


 He said, 'These two cows were my only means of survival.  One of these cows was pregnant.  And after a few days she gave birth.  I had many dreams of living with them.  Everything is over.'


 Kotalipara police station OC Abul Kalam Azad said, "I have spoken to the local public representatives about the theft remedy in the area.  The night police patrol has been strengthened along with increasing the activities of the village police of various unions.


 Md. Harun Or Rashid, Deputy Director of Gopalganj District Office of Department of Social Services, will provide financial support to the affected farmers from Samaj Kalyan Parishad.  We will support him at the highest level of financial support.
